Canva – how to get started (guide)
Canva is an online design tool at canva.com and in the Canva app. You can sign up for free and start from a template for posts, presentations, posters or CVs.

- Open canva.com or the Canva app and sign up with your email, Google or another account.
- Search for what you want to make, for example a post or a presentation.
- Choose a template and change the text, the photos and the colours.
- Choose Share, then Download to save the design as PNG, JPG or PDF, or share a link.
If it does not work
A crown or Pro label means the element is part of a paid plan: choose a free alternative or remove it before downloading.
Make sure that the photos and logos you upload are yours or that you have the right to use them.

Is Canva free?
Canva has a free plan with many templates. Canva Pro and other paid plans add premium content and features.
Is this the official Canva website?
